Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a branch of medicine that allows, with the execution of appropriate techniques and support of modern technology, to cure (therapy) the body using natural physiacl energies such as heat energy ( thermotherapy endogenous, radartherapy, marconitherapy, hyperthermia and exogenous thermotherapy, phototherapy and muds).

Another type of thermotherapy is the removal of heat such as cryotherapy (or cold therapy), mechanical energy ( the massage, ultrasounds, shock waves), and electromagnetic energy ( the iontophoresis, Tens, diadynamic and interference currents, magneto-therapy ).

Other forms of energy used are: laser therapy (which consist of a form of amplified light used to emit radiations, very effective in treating pain and as bio-stimulation), endotermia known as TECAR, the latest frontier with regards to the use of anti-inflammatory and therapeutic eletrical waveform. Last but not least is the SIT Therapy, a new method for transdermal conveying of therapeutic elements (anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, fibrinolytics, etc…) thus avoiding the use of needles (mesotherapy) to support the work of the physiotherapist.

The kinesitherapy utilizing movement for therapeutic purposes, allows to overcome a traumatic event or a pathology of locomotor aparatus by minimizing the devastating effect of immobilization and avoids overburdening the joints.

It also allows to consolidate the results obtained with surgery through the motor recovery and rehabilitation to daily activities, such as working and sport. This activity is also performed in the thermal swimming pool (hydrokinesitherapy) with the assistance of a therapist.
